When the Anne Marie D’Amico Foundation was established, it was born out of a profound commitment to turn unimaginable tragedy into enduring light. Anne Marie lived her life with boundless energy, empathy, and an unwavering belief that kindness could transform the world.

Today, her spirit continues to guide everything we do. But continuing her mission is not something we do alone—it is powered by an extraordinary, compassionate community of donors, volunteers, partners, and supporters who show up every day to keep her light shining.

Anne Marie D’Amico Community Collective x North York Women’s Shelter

  • The AMDF raised over $1M and helped erect a permanent reminder that good will always conquer evil!

Toronto Catholic District School Board

  • Funded by the AMDF, the Anne Marie D’Amico Memorial Award (est. 2024) recognizes one elementary and one secondary student for their contributions to their community.

Tennis Canada

  • Established the annual Anne Marie D’Amico Scholarship to a Toronto and Montreal ball kid (est. 2018)

  • Established the Anne Marie D’Amico Customer Service Award that is presented to a volunteer who exemplifies outstanding customer service (est. 2018)

Invesco

  • Established the Anne Marie D’Amico Award in 2019 that recognizes an employee each year for their dedication to helping others and for giving back to their community.

  • Funds the annual Anne Marie D’Amico Memorial Scholarship ($5000) that is given to a full-time student at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) majoring in Finance, demonstrating overall academic excellence, and has given back to their community (est. 2018).

  • Toronto office staff pool room re-named the Anne Marie D’Amico Pool Zone.

  • PEI office created a garden in Anne Marie’s name.

  • Permanent plaque at Mel Lastman Square

  • Anne Marie D’Amico Square is situated at the crossroads of her elementary school and her childhood street (est. 2019)
