About The Turtle Project
The Turtle Project will be an evening of live entertainment and the pinnacle fundraising event for the Anne Marie D’Amico Foundation. Inspired by Anne Marie’s character and in remembrance of her spirit, The Turtle Project will be held on December 3rd each year. It will be a culmination of the foundation’s fundraising and awareness efforts while commemorating Anne Marie’s birthday each year.
The meaning of the turtle transcends Anne Marie’s childhood nickname. It is a symbol of strength, stability, and longevity symbolizing the endurance of the foundation. The turtle also represents wisdom, peace, and good luck. The turtle’s charming demeanour represents tranquillity and their hard shell acts as a barrier protecting against the world’s hardships.

RALPH – Singer
With an emphasis on narrative songwriting and genre-bending musical style, JUNO award nominated artist RALPH has created a special role for herself within the contemporary music scene; a sound that is catchy but cool, sexy but smart, edgy but evocative. She’s developed a soundscape that is uniquely her own, but what truly makes RALPH’s songs special is that they are ferociously honest and relatable. This finesse sent her hit track “Gravity” up the radio charts into the Top 20, followed by a JUNO award nomination for Dance Recording of the Year.
Starting with little more than talent and a vision, over the past three years RALPH has built an incredible following in the USA, Canada and Europe. She’s joined the likes of Ria Mae, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Scott Helman on three cross-Canada tours, and has drawn crowds south of the border for a North American tour with joan. Earning over 45 million streams across platforms and seeing her music featured across television networks such as E!, HBO, Freeform and VICE, she has earned praised from a wealth of tastemaker press such as The FADER, Billboard, Paper, Paste, NYLON, V Magazine, Mother Jones, Interview Magazine, Teen Vogue, and MTV News.
POESY – Singer-Songwriter
POESY is the solo project of Toronto-based singer/songwriter/pianist Sarah Botelho. POESY was initially discovered after she appeared on the first season of hit Canadian music show, THE LAUNCH. Her performance captivated the judges and the hearts of millions across the country and her incredible breakout performance landed POESY a major label deal with Big Machine Records. Met with an incredible reception, her debut single “Soldier Of Love” rapidly climbed the ranks of Canada’s music charts – debuting at #1 on the iTunes All Genres chart and landing in the Billboard Top 40.
Ready for her next musical statement, POESY enlisted the help of UK producer Stephen Lipson (Billie Eilish, Annie Lennox, Hans Zimmer) to compile the next batch of songs that effortlessly set her apart from the pack. Along with a commission to write the theme song for the 2022 Canada Games and a nod from Canada with full FACTOR grant funding POESY is poised to carve out a lane all her own.
Crash Adams – Musicians
Crash Adams is the dynamic singing duo from Toronto, Canada that also happen to be childhood friends. Aptly named Crash and Adams, these two best friends grew up together, listening to the finer music in life like Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin, and the occasional 50-cent. Crash began writing and producing music at his uncle’s recording studio, while Adams learned guitar and became a master at his craft. They started making music together ever since! Over the last year and a half, Crash Adams has been producing, and curating their sound: nostalgic, inspired, and a bit of humour as they reveal a new chapter in their ridiculous story. Welcome to their living room!
